Even fully vaccinated individuals can get Covid and transmit Covid to others. The CDC again confirmed these findings in its 10/15/21 communication. CDC continues to suggest: “Vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals should continue to follow current guidance for Covid testing recommendations.”

Reliant uses PCR and Rapid testing that is sensitive to all new Covid-19 variants. Reliant and our laboratory partners will be able to identify individual strains of the Covid variant should that degree of specificity become necessary.

As 2022 approaches, Covid infection rates are rising among all population groups. CDC recommends Covid prevention measures, including Covid testing, until vaccination rates are higher and Covid infection rates decline significantly.
